We regret that our site has suffered some damage by a recent hard drive failure. While all our files are intact and have been moved to this new drive, several sections of the site have become inoperable. We're working to correct the problem and will hopefully have them back online soon. During this time, please do not hesitate to write to us if you have any questions.
In the near future, possibly while we're working on the current problems, we'll be rebuildng the site in such a way to expand the ReichardFamily.com team so that the site is kept more up-to-date. In that way, we hope to better serve the Reichards who visit!

Our Mission:
ReichardFamily.com was created to do just what our motto states: Bring Reichards Together. There are Reichards across the globe who know only the Reichards in their immediate family. At ReichardFamily.com you can meet Reichards from the other side of the world!
It is our goal for this site to grow by leaps and bounds and to break down the barriers of distance that separates the Reichard family. ReichardFamily.com is a site built by Reichards, for Reichards. We sincerely hope that your time spent on this site will be memorable.

Family History
Originating in Germany, Oberhessen, much of the Reichard family still resides in Hainchen, Himbach, Vilbel, Frankfurt, and Altenstadt, all of Budingen Kries, Ober-Hessen. The remainder of the known family is living in the United States of America, settling first in Pennsylvania; then moving to and expanding the family in Virginia, the county of Amherst, the town of Madison Heights. Many members of the family have branched off into various states, some of which include Connecticut, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Maryland. Besides the European history, we also now have a branch of the family residing in Japan. The Pennsylvania branch of the family still resides there, although that line has not been followed in this history. We are hoping information will be forthcoming due to this website.
